With an estimated 4,000,000–5,000,000 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens being destroyed in the U.S. annually, our Spay USA initiative takes a very active role in reducing unwanted births, needless animal suffering, and euthanasia.
Spay USA, the nation’s largest network for affordable spay/neuter services, also provides public education about the benefits of spaying/neutering a pet. By providing these spay/neuter services, the Animal League helps end the suffering of innocent dogs and cats by reducing the number of unwanted births.
Spay USA has built a referral network of over 2,000 spay/neuter clinics, and 5,000 veterinarians in 28 states. Over the past 12 months, Spay USA has provided more than 50,000 low-cost spay/neuter referrals. Learn more at www.spayusa.org.
