<description>Hello and thank you for posting your question about North Shore Animal League America&#039;s Sponsor Program cat Jules. Jules came to the Animal League in 2002. At that time it was estimated that he was only 1 year old. That would make Jules 8 years old this year. Here are a couple of his latest pet progress updates:

January 2010:
We predict another momentous year ahead for Jules. Almost completely out of his shell, he is an example of what a little love can do to an animal in need. He continues to cautiously approach visitors that come to his house and after a few sniffs he is able to relax and handle the situation. Remarkable progress indeed! For those of you who sponsor Jules and have been tracking his progress though the years, even through the months, you must be so proud at the profound effect your support has had. Thank you for your commitment to the Animal League’s vital Sponsor Program for animals with special needs.

March 2010:
Jules has been doing pretty well so far this winter. He continues to follow his foster family every time they head to the bathroom and now even approaches his foster mother while she is doing her hair in the morning. He continues to eat well and has been throwing up much less than he did before – perhaps, we hope, as a result of his being more comfortable in his foster care home. He’s also been very happy that Cleo the cat is spending so much time in the front window. That means that Cleo is spending much less time trying to “steal” his favorite cow shaped pillow in the back window when he gets up for a drink or bathroom break. Jules spends hours on this pillow watching the birds fly around each and every day!

Thank you for your support of Jules and all the pets in our care.

Sincerely,
The Sponsor Team
