Toby
Toby’s foster mom says that he is doing very well. He loves to play outside and go for walks. To look at him, you would never know that he is a special-needs dog. He is even starting to gain a little weight which he needs. He’s eating 3 times each day. It’s still working well to mix his food with water so that he can swallow it and properly digest it. His mom reports that Toby has been having fun lately with another dog in their extended family. It’s such a comfort to know that Toby is playing well with other dogs and gaining weight and feeling just like any other healthy dog – thanks, of course, to Sponsors like you!

Thanks so much for the update on Toby, I am one of his sponors and really enjoyed the happy news. I teach school in Miami, and my class follows Toby’s progress. The class will be pleased when school starts and I give them the update.Toby is blessed to have a great foster Mom. I wish her the best.

I am another proud Toby-sponsor. Thanks for giving Toby the chance for the happy and long life that all pets deserve. When I was first asked ‘who’ I wanted to sponsor, it was a tough decision as so many pets had special needs – how does one choose?
So I asked you to chose for me. Coincidentally you choose for me to sponsor “Toby” which was very coincidental and a great choice as I was already very sad about another dog (also called Toby) who had just recently been tortured and killed at the hands of ‘teenagers’ on August 28th 2007.
Therefore I’m now sponsoring Toby “in memory of Toby” which makes it even more meaningful in that I’m helping another Toby “live on” to have a happy and long life.

Hi – I’m one of little Toby’s sponsors too. I’m so happy to see that he is doing well. I keep his picture on my refrigerator. I have a cat named Ruby whom I adopted from North Shore in November 2006. I always remind her that she has a little brother out there!
