Route 1: Sacramento, CA

Sacramento, CA - March 24, 2011

Not even rain and high winds could stop the momentum of Tour For Life 2011 in Sacramento, CA.  Instead of holding the event at outdoors at Cesar Chavez Park we held the event at the Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation shelter; a modern, state of the art facility housing hundreds of adoptable pets, many with their own “real life” rooms.  The energy inside the shelter was one of love and hope. Many wonderful pets went home today including Delilah, a Dachshund Mutt-i-gree found as a stray originally.  It was a perfect match as Delilah and her new family looked very happy as they left the shelter in route Delilah’s new home.  Hopefully the rain doesn’t follow us as we head down to Los Angeles for the next event on Venice Beach.

Until next time,

James and Dan
