PORT WASHINGTON, NY, April 29, 2011 – Two-time Super Bowl Champion for the New England Patriots, Jarvis Green visited North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington NY to announce the organization’s 17th Annual Pet Adoptathon. The Animal League will open its doors at 25 Davis Avenue in Port Washington, NY, on Saturday, April 30th at 9:00 am and stay open 36-hours straight in an effort to save pets’ lives.
Animal League adopters will have over 700 puppies, kittens, dogs and cats to choose from all weekend long. On Sunday, May 1st, Green will be leading up fitness fun for kids of all ages called Mutt-i-grees ACTIV-ities. These engaging activities will help children bond and understand their newly adopted pet even more!
