North Shore Animal League America is the world's largest no-kill pet rescue and adoption organization. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable corporation, not a private foundation. Our federal tax ID # is 11-1666 852.

We believe that a rescue is not complete until an animal is placed into a loving home, and over the past decade, we have rescued, rehabilitated and adopted an average of 20,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens into permanent homes. We have saved almost 1,000,000 animals to date.
