My name is Jolie and I am having a hard time adjusting to all the changes I've been through. I came all the way from Texas as part of the League's Hurricane rescue efforts. I could be a great companion for the right adopter. I need to be with someone who can patient and allow me the time to come out of my shell at my own speed. When I first arrived here at the League, I was diagnosed with heartworm and have been treated. I will need you to keep a close eye on me for the next few months, but other than that it requires nothing more than monthly preventative treatment. Although I need some extra TLC, I know I can be comfortable enough to show my true colors. If there are any children in the home, they need to be over twelve years old and we would need to meet first-- same goes with any other dogs that might be in the home. Please come down and we'll get to know each other.
