Thanks to an overwhelming response to their plight, 41 of the 56 rescued dogs have already been adopted. We are committed to finding the remaining Chihuahuas loving, new homes where they will be given the love and care they deserve. Please help us continue our efforts to rescue more helpless animals from puppy mills by making a generous tax-deductible donation today.

These fifty-six long-eared, tiny dogs are looking for a loving home.
A Chihuahua's small size makes them wonderful apartment pets. They can weigh as little as 5 to 10 pounds and are the oldest breed native to North America. Their dark eyes and trademark long ears give them a unique look. Don't let their size deceive you; these little dogs have big bold and saucy personalities that make them hard to walk away from. They are intensely loyal and they give, as well as, demand affection. Since they are small in stature they do get cold and shiver often and therefore appreciate a warm sweater.
These Chihuahuas will all be available for adoption at the League beginning on Monday, September 25th once they have been examined by the League's medical staff and spayed or neutered.
