Federal Tax ID #11-1666852
Sample bequest language:
I give to North Shore Animal League America, Federal I.D. No. 11-1666852, 16 Lewyt Street, Port Washington, New York, 11050, (the sum of $______) (all or ___ % of the residue of my estate/trust), to be used for its general purposes.
Legacy Estate Gifts:
Legacy gifts (often called “planned gifts”) are a powerful way to help Animal League America continue our mission to rescue, nurture and adopt homeless animals long into the future.
Legacy gifts can take many forms, but all share the unique characteristic that they allow you to ultimately donate more to help save the lives of animals than you may have ever thought possible while retaining the flexibility to donate conservatively during the course of your lifetime.
A Legacy gift can be:
- A gift or “bequest” from your Will or Trust
- Naming Animal League America a beneficiary of your Retirement Plan (IRA)
- Naming Animal League America a beneficiary of a Life Insurance Policy
- Naming Animal League America a beneficiary of a savings, checking, brokerage or other transfer on death account (TOD)
Each of these gifts will allow you to enjoy specific tax advantages as well, so we always recommend that you discuss your personal financial plan with a professional.
The Pet Protectors Society:
Society members are a treasured group of donors whose generosity will ensure that we can remain the world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization far into the future. All members receive premium mailings, personal invitations to all League events and are honored by being listed* in our annual, full-color Pet Protectors Society newsletter. *All requests to remain anonymous are respected
A complimentary Legacy information packet is available to be mailed to you at your request.
If you would like to receive a Legacy information packet or would just like to speak with a League representative to learn more about how you can support our no-kill mission by making Animal League America a beneficiary of a Legacy Gift, please contact:
