Jamie: June 2005
Jamie visited us recently, and the poor thing had an awful time. She doesn't travel well and hates being handled by anyone – even her foster care Mom. A lot of cats don't like being held, but Jamie's case seems to be exasperated by her neurological difficulties – already Jamie doesn't have as much control over her bodily movements as she would like, so when someone picks her up she loses what little control she does have. Of course, we do everything we can do make Jamie feel as comfortable as possible – and we try to examine her quickly! Thank you for giving Jamie and the other special needs animals a second chance at healthy and happy lives. Your support means the world to them – and us.
