Get to Know Petra

When Petra first arrived, she was so timid she didn’t want to come out to play. Once moved into the caged free Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, the spark came back into her eyes and this young lady is showing us how to have fun on her terms. Still nervous around humans, Petra has a take charge personality when it comes to felines that her friends all find quite delightful! From engaging in wand play to exploring new heights, she is never at a loss for activities! Occasionally she’ll even enjoy some ear rubs. Because she is still working out her feelings about us humans, a home with older children and a confident cat or two in it are a must for her future success. We’re looking forward to Petra exploring her very first home with you soon!

  • Can be both active and calm

  • Good with kids 12+

  • Needs an experienced owner

  • Prefers a home with other cats

Next Steps for Petra

Our Adoption Center is open for adoptions by appointment only. Serious adopters are asked to schedule an appointment below.

During your appointment all social distancing protocols will be observed, including face masks worn at all times inside the building, temperature checks and filling out a health questionnaire.

All adoptions are subject to approval and you must be 21 or older to adopt. Our adoption screening process is designed to ensure that each animal is placed in a responsible, loving home with an adopter who is prepared to make a lifelong commitment. An important part of the adoption process is to match the lifestyle and needs of the adopter with the individual dog or cat being considered. If the screening process occasionally seems overly strict or time-consuming, understand that our first priority is to consider every animal’s best interests.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies (up to 6 months)
Adult Dogs (over 6 months)
Puppy Mill Rescues
Small Breed & Pure Breeds (over 6 months
Kittens (up to 6 months)
Double Kittens
Adult Cats (over 6 months)
Double Adult Cats
Where applicable, a $50 Spay/Neuter deposit is required for kittens, $75 for puppies. Please note that adoption fees at our mobile adoption locations may vary.

High-Quality Medical Care

After this period, adopters can transition to our Pet Health Center where our high-quality veterinary care continues.

Our quality veterinarian team provides all the services you would expect from a private veterinary practice, and when you visit our Pet Health Center, not only do you receive low-cost pet care, but proceeds help support our mission to save lives.
