Get to Know Gertrude
A local rescue hero discovered Gertrude fending for herself in the elements last fall and secured her a safer retirement than the busy lot she occupied. We all agree that this shy senior deserves so much more than she had on the streets. Gertrude has been tucked away in a quiet space, away from the bustling Adoption Center, to provide her a safe place to adapt to life as a treasured family member. We are actively seeking a loving peaceful home with fearful cat experience and children 12+ in age who will give her the predictable life she craves. When Gertrude’s trust is gained, she responds with a full heart of gratitude. We’d like to erase the sadness in her past and replace it with endless love from here on out. If you think your heart has room for a worthy new companion, please ask to meet Gertrude.
