Get to Know Burrito

Burrito? We say purrito is more like it! This sweet 10 year old gentleman was discovered locally and brought to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center for safety. He’s been making fans out of the humans very quickly as we prepare him to meet his furever family. Burrito was a purrfect patient as he received a dental, and is now getting VIP treatment as his vets create an easy plan for caring for his hyperthyroidism. We love to spoil him to make up for the rough time he experienced while abandoned on the streets, and he returns our affection with so much appreciation! He prefers human company to cats, so we’re actively purrsuing a home where he can be the center of attention. Burrito is deaf, which makes him all the more remarkable because he doesn’t miss a thing with those wondering eyes. He’ll require no extra care for his hearing loss—just lots of love and cuddles assuring him he is indeed the best boy!

June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month and our corporate partner, Wisdom Panel™, will be covering adoption fees for all approved feline adopters!*

Next Steps for Burrito

We are expanding our adoption services while still keeping the safety of our animals, staff, volunteers and visitors our top priority.

Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center is open daily, from 10am – 5:30pm, for kitten and cat adoptions with no appointment needed.

Beginning Monday, July 5, 2021, the Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center and Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center will be open daily from 10am to 6:00pm with no appointment needed. Until July 5th, appointments will continue to be needed for all canine adoptions Friday through Sunday in the Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center.

Social distancing protocols will be observed while on campus and face masks must be worn at all times. All visitors entering our facility will be asked to fill out a standard COVID-19 questionnaire and require a temperature scan. In the event that there are too many people inside, visitors will be asked to wait in their cars and will not be allowed to crowd around the entrance or front of the building.

High-Quality Medical Care

For the first 15 days following your adoption, we care for an adopted animals in our medical center. An adoption counselor will provide any adopter with specific details on what medical services are covered. After this period, adopters can transition to our Pet Health Center where our high-quality veterinary care continues.

Our Pet Health Center

We offer low-cost, high-quality veterinary care to all dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens—including pets not adopted here. Our quality veterinarian team provides all the services you would expect from a private veterinary practice, and when you visit our Pet Health Center, not only do you receive low-cost pet care, but proceeds help support our mission to save lives.
