Supplies Needed for Partner Shelter in Path of Hurricane Laura

Drop off by 5pm Friday, August 28, 2020

As Hurricane Laura continues it’s path toward Texas, our partner shelter, SPCA of Polk County is preparing for a direct hit from this storm. At this difficult time supplies will be hard to come by, and this will be made even worse by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. You can help by donating much needed supplies that will be brought to our shelter partner by our Emergency Rescue Team. Our team will be heading out first thing Saturday morning, August 29, 2020.

All items for collection can be dropped off at the tent next to our parking lot at 16 Lewyt Street, Port Washington, NY.

Donations can be dropped off on the following days/times:
Wednesday, August 26, 2020, 10am to 8pm
Thursday, August 27, 2020, 10am to 8pm
Friday, August 28, 2020, 10am to 5pm

Items needed include:
Paper Towels
New Litter Boxes & Litter
Wee Wee Pads
Garbage Bags
Bottled Water
Bleach & Anti-Bacterial Cleaning Wipes
Sponges
Cat Carriers & Dog Crates
Dog Biscuits & Cat Treats
New or Gently Used Towels
New Food/Water Bowls
Dog & Cat Food
New or Gently Used Collars, Leashes, and Pet Toys
