Adopted Seniors Give Thanks to The Grey Muzzle Organization

////Adopted Seniors Give Thanks to The Grey Muzzle Organization

A grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization covered the preventive care expenses for 48 Seniors for Seniors adoptees from July to September. These senior dogs from North Shore Animal League America were all adopted by senior citizens, and ranged in age from 8-13 years old. Wellness visits, vaccinations, and blood tests are all free of charge for all pets adopted as part of our Seniors for Seniors Program.  This amazing program helps make finding the perfect match of a senior pet, and companion, for senior citizens easier and affordable.

Dottie is one of our Seniors for Seniors dogs who is enjoying a healthy, happy life in her new home. She is a 13 year old Shih Tzu who was adopted in 2015. She is in very good health and loves visiting us twice each year for her bi-annual exams!

Grants from The Grey Muzzle Organization and the Olga Graham Fund help us offset the costs for our Seniors for Seniors Program. Our combined best efforts are keeping these pets well cared for and provided with lots of unconditional love!
