Meet Milo

Meet Milo 2018-03-16T17:24:06+00:00

Welcome Milo! Milo joined our shelter family early in 2017 when his owners moved and left him in our care, and it was lucky for Milo they did.

Our medical team diagnosed Milo with a mild heart condition and diabetes. He’s being treated with a special diet and is not on any medications at this time. However, his strict diet is critical to his long term health. You can’t find a better cat personality than Milo. He’s certainly a lap cat and he steals the hearts of everyone that he meets.

The cost of medical care is a great road block for cats with health issues, and animals with diabetes are especially at risk. So, being a Sponsor Pet gives Milo great advantage since his medical costs will be covered, even if it’s for the rest of his life. Thank you for your support and making a real difference by sponsoring this special cat.

March 2018

Milo loves life in his new home with his mom, Natalie! This adorable boy
loves to sleep and play and run around — when the mood strikes him.
Laying on Natalie’s bed next to her has become Milo’s favorite things.
Natalie says Milo isn’t the biggest fan of being picked up, but he’ll allow
her to hold him like a baby to show him some love. “Every day is another
great memory with him since we adopted him,” says Natalie. “Thank you
so much to all of his sponsor parents for supporting Milo and taking care
of his food and medical care. He really is the sweetest cat, and we are so
very lucky to call him part of our family.”

December 2017

Six-year-old Milo joined our shelter family in May when his owners moved and left him in our care. He’s being treated for diabetes and a mild heart condition with a special diet, but is not on any medication at the time. If it weren’t for his diabetes, we’re certain Milo would have already been adopted into a loving home. He’s adamant about being a lap cat and steals hearts from everyone he encounters. He’s happy to hang out with cats in playgroup, but his special diet is critical to his health. Becoming part of our Pet Sponsor Program gives him a great
advantage now that his medical care will be covered for life. The cost of medical care is a great road block to cats with health issues, and animals with diabetes often get passed over because of the financial concern. Thanks to your support, Milo has a new chance at a fresh start!
