Welcome to the Family!

Have you ever noticed that animal lovers never run out of stories about their wonderful pets? That’s the idea behind The Mutt-i-grees® Family Album.

Celebrate your treasured dogs and cats by posting and sharing photos and favorite anecdotes and stories.

It doesn’t matter if your pets were adopted from shelters or rescue groups, strays you found on the street, or dogs and cats whose original owners no longer wanted them. As long you didn’t buy them, they’re all Mutt-i-grees — and they’re all welcome in The Mutt-i-grees Family Album! So, tell the world about the Mutt-i-grees who share your life today…and those who live on in your memory.

You’ll also have a chance to register your dog or cat as an authentic Mutt-i-gree, with official papers proving that your rescue pet is one of a kind!

Deuce was found laying in the middle of the street totally exhausted in a dehydrated state. She was malnourished, had worms, full of flees, and had mange. She collapsed on a black top tar street in the middle of August. The lady that found her honked her horn at her but she could not move. The lady brought her to the emergency center where my husband (John) and I had an appointment with the doctor there to have cataract surgery done on our Maltese. When we saw her my John went over to her and started petting her and she reciprocated with licks and wagging tail. That was it for my John, we adopted her and immediately fell in love with her. She was nursed back to health and became the queen of the household. We didn't think she could get any happier until we rescued another six week old Labrador that was found by a farmer. She was in a rabbit hole and the farmer almost ran over her with his tractor. When we brought her home Deuce went crazy with joy running back and forth in the yard and barking for the next door neighbor's dog to come look at her new baby. Deuce took to her as if she just gave birth to her and immediately became protective over her as if she was her birth mother. We named her Shadow because she followed Deuce everywhere. Shadow had a rough beginning like adopted mommy (Deuce) her belly was swollen from worms, she had fleas, mange and was malnourished. She was very scared at first but with Deuce's love for her and filling in for her birth mother and with the love of our family she recovered from all her problems. The two of them are now inseparable living on six acres with lots of room to run and play when we let them out of their forever loving home, and now they are living HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
