Unfortunately, I was abandoned by my previous owners. I have been at the Animal League now for quite sometime. They have taken such great care of me, but it’s not quite the same as having a real home and a real family of my very own. I am somewhat of a shy girl, but I have a great personality. Ruth is a gorgeous independent woman! She was rescued some time ago from a municipal shelter and had a bit of a rough start here at the Animal League. She was very nervous, especially in her cage. Ruth is doing much better at the cat habitat where she gets to lounge around and hang out with the other cats and nap on her favorite window sill. Ruth is a cuddly couch potato and will love to sit right next to you on the sofa. She's not the type of girl that will be mushy all the time, but will let you know when she wants some loving. Shadow is a very relaxed, calm boy. He enjoys neck, belly and chin rubs after warming up to you. Shadow can certainly be shy at first, but is a great friend once he is comfortable with your companionship. Timmy is a gorgeous young adult. He loves spending his time in the cat habitat with his other cat pals. Timmy is a very high-energy cat, but also loves nothing more than to snuggle up in his bed near the window, in the sunlight. His favorite toy is the kitty laser pointer and he loves to zoom across the room chasing the "light." His other favorite toy is the cat teaser toy, a rod with a long row of feathers attached - he practically does back flips for this one! Timmy does take some time to get to know you, but once he does, he'll be your best friend forever. When you gain his trust, he'll let you rub him under the chin and he’ll purr for you.
