The Animal League America opened the Friskies® Cat Habitat to provide home-style living for some of our cats.
The Friskies® Cat Habitat was graciously designed and constructed by Purina, in consultation with a well-known cat behaviorist. All of the surfaces are covered in cat-friendly materials so our feline inhabitants are able to roam freely, play, and socialize with their cat friends 24 hours a day.
Located across the street from our Adoption Center, the Cat Habitat gives cats a chance to stretch their legs, sharpen their claws and mingle with their friends. This open-space living is especially helpful to, and appreciated by, cats that have been in our care more than 30 days.
The Cat Habitat also helps give adopters a better view of our cats' spunky and playful personalities, by allowing them to see adoptable cats in a home-style setting.

Adoption Fees Waived
To encourage the adoption of our adult cats, all adoption fees for cats in the Habitat are waived!
