Sponsor Animal Update: Penny
Penny: 2nd Quarter 2012
Lindsey, Penny’s adopted mother, says Penny is great. She had dental care recently and is much more comfortable now. She had teeth pulled and abscesses drained, and her bad breath is now gone. Our poor Penny was a real trooper through the whole ordeal. She has some cute habits that Lindsey has not mentioned before; Linda and Lindsay ball up a tissue, put it near her face and she will rub her eyes, nose, lips and whiskers into the tissue, the entire time purring like a motor boat. She also loves it when they rub her nose from the tip up between her eyes. She closes her eyes and seems to drift up into another dimension, her mouth opening from complete relaxation. She really likes getting the attention now; when Lindsay first brought Penny home, she was so standoffish. Now at bedtime Penny sleeps on a big fat pillow, like a Princess. Lindsay will rest her head on the pillow close to her; Penny will reach out, put her paw on top of Lindsay’s head, and fall into a deep sleep.
