Foster Care Volunteer
Foster Care Parents have the opportunity to care for an animal that’s not yet ready for adoption.

We need volunteers that are willing and able to take care of kittens without mothers.

Receptionist
Clerical duties – file and create records. Assist clients that come to Medical Center. Handle telephone calls and data entry

Pet Behavior Volunteer
Assist the trainers with daily duties as assigned, i.e., housebreaking walks, making shreds and preparing Kong’s, distribute bones and toys, feed and medicate, etc. Not an entry-level position.

Humane Education Volunteer
Strong desire to interact with children and adults, plus a strong belief in the power of education. Reliable and dependable; provides own transportation to and from presentations; at least 18 years of age; must be able to responsibly handle animals off-site.

Dog Walker/Kennel Volunteer
Take a large-breed dog for a walk or play ball in a fenced yard. By giving a dog some one-on-one attention, you are also helping with its socialization. It’s a very rewarding experience. Also, assist in getting older dogs adopted into homes.

Cleaning and handling cats in habitat, providing information to adopters, filling out applications.

Shelter Pet Outreach Team (SPOT) Volunteer
Strong desire to interact with residents in senior and specialized health care facilities bringing shelter puppies to visit and providing the healing benefits of animal companionship and love.
