2014 EVENTS:

More than 300 turned out for our 70th Anniversary Gala to support Bianca's Furry Friends.

Mets fans and their favorite mutt-i-grees® turned up for Bark in the Park at Citi Field.

Our 13th Lewyt Humane Awards Luncheon honored three generous and dedicated North Shore Animal League America supporters. It was a wonderful afternoon that paired kittens with high fashion.

Our Pet Adoptathon Month kicked off with a fun-filled weekend where almost 600 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens found their fur-ever homes.

Meet Beth O.
Animal League Spokesperson Beth Stern is such a strong advocate for the animals, and a proud parent to pets Bianca and Apple. Beth helps focus national attention on the plight of shelter animals, appearing on so many TV and cable shows to help spread the word about shelter adoptions. Beth also helps behind the scenes, lending a hand to our rescue team as they take animals from our Mobile Adoption Units to our medical facility. Beth’s passion for the animals is truly unmatched—she even ran a 26.2 mile marathon to save lives.
