PORT WASHINGTON, NY, November 26, 2014 –

North Shore Animal League America’s Rescue Team saved over 90 puppies and dogs from a commercial breeding operation in the Midwest. The adorable canines range in size, age, and breed and include: Poodles, Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Miniature Pinschers – among other breeds.

“These dogs are the lucky ones, to be honest,” said Ted Moriates, Off-Site Rescue Driver for the Animal League. “Watching their transitions and seeing them be adopted into loving homes is very gratifying.”

These dogs have been evaluated medically and behaviorally, spayed or neutered, and will be available for adoption beginning Saturday, November 29th at 10 am.
