Get to Know Trebek

We’ve had a lot of questions for Trebek that only he has the answers to, and lately he’s begun to offer us some clues to his happiness. Given all the time he needs to relearn his feelings about trusting humans, he’s experiencing a refreshing change in his spirit lately. Introductions to new friends in a quiet space have hi-lighted a more playful side to this typically shy fellow. It’s warmed all of our hearts to see him join in on some fun and games with his feline friends. While strangers still make Trebek feel in “Jeopardy”, a quiet, cat-experienced home with children 16 years old and older will help him become a champion. Watching him enjoy his feline friends shows us that a confident cat in his home eager to show him clues about his new life will help bring him further away from the fearful beginning he’s putting behind him. Trebek is ready to answer more questions if you’re ready to give him time and a patient heart.

Next Steps for Trebek

We are expanding our adoption services while still keeping the safety of our animals, staff, volunteers and visitors our top priority.

Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center will be open for kitten and cat adoptions Mondays through Thursdays, from 10am-5:30pm with no appointment needed. Adoptions will continue to be by appointment only Fridays through Sundays.

The Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center will remain open daily for puppy and dog adoptions by appointment only.

Social distancing protocols will be observed while on campus and face masks must be worn at all times. All visitors entering our facility will be asked to fill out a standard COVID-19 questionnaire and require a temperature scan. In the event that there are too many people inside, visitors will be asked to wait in their cars and will not be allowed to crowd around the entrance or front of the building.

All adoptions are subject to approval and you must be 21 or older to adopt. We cannot guarantee the selection of adoptable animals at the time of any appointment and animals cannot be held for your visit. Our experienced Adoption Counselors will make every effort to match you with your perfect pet.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies (up to 6 months)
Adult Dogs (over 6 months)
Puppy Mill Rescues
Small Breed & Pure Breeds (over 6 months

High-Quality Medical Care

After this period, adopters can transition to our Pet Health Center where our high-quality veterinary care continues.

Our quality veterinarian team provides all the services you would expect from a private veterinary practice, and when you visit our Pet Health Center, not only do you receive low-cost pet care, but proceeds help support our mission to save lives.
