Next Steps: An Adoption Counselor will contact you by phone within 24-48 hours to review your application information with you. This is the first step in the adoption approval process and DOES NOT mean you have been immediately approved to adopt.

The approval process can often take several days to complete depending on factors such as verifying identification, contacting of references, verifying rental agreements, etc. If you plan on visiting the shelter within the next few days you may be asked to submit a new application as this online application may still be under review. All adoptions are subject to approval, and you must be 21 or older to adopt. We cannot guarantee the selection of adoptable animals at any time, and animals cannot be held for potential adopters. Our experienced Adoption Counselors will make every effort to match you with your perfect pet.
