Specials and Activities:

in conjunction with the eighth-annual Glens Falls Pet Fest, which takes place in City Park. During Pet Fest, our volunteers will staff a table to engage attendees, share information about our mission, and encourage visitors to walk over to the Center, which is located less than a block away from the park.

At the Center, we will host an Open House throughout the day. Visitors will be welcomed with light snacks and beverages and invited to tour the facility, meeting adoptable cats and enjoying a low-key interactive game, which involves keeping their eyes peeled for pictures of world‑famous cats displayed throughout the space.

As part of the event, we will also be waiving adoption fees for our “Quiet Hearts” cats—select adult cats who may be shy, skittish, or slow to trust. This promotion will help spotlight these special cats while giving Pet Fest attendees an opportunity to learn more about them in a welcoming environment.
