Salem is at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY.
Double Adoption wth Lizzie, #NCI5014. Salem is a young black cat with a quiet strength, who came into the center alongside her sister Lizzie after surviving a home that wasn’t kind to them. Since arriving, she’s made impressive strides—though still a bit skittish, she’s learning to trust and enjoys gentle pets from patient hands. Salem thrives in peaceful, low-chaos environments where she can feel safe and loved without pressure. Her ideal match is someone who understands the beauty of slow progress and is willing to let her set the pace. She would love to be adopted with Lizzie to keep their sisterly bond strong, but she’d also do well with another friendly feline companion. With time, love, and a calm home, Salem is sure to blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion.

The Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center and Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center will be open 10:00am to 6:00pm on Wednesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Monday and Tuesday, unless otherwise noted.
