Clio was admitted to North Shore Animal League America’s care in late October 2024 because her adopter at the time travelled too often to attend to her medical care. Clio has feline hyperesthesia syndrome (FHS), in which nerves are overstimulated and it can manifest as an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Her condition is managed through a twice-daily medication, calming her so that Clio is the very definition of a lap cat.
