Get to Know Simba
Senior Simba faced a major life change when he lost the only home he’d ever known and was faced with navigating new terrain. Our heart broke for the hardship he’d faced, and our devoted team gave him a quiet, cage free space to relearn how to trust again. Time has been a valuable tool for this sweet gentle soul, and we’re seeing more and more relief and gratitude these days. Visitors can now find Simba holding court from his rocking-chair-throne. Offer him a scratch on the side of his head and you’ll have activated his sweet spot. He just can’t resist melting in your hands with some good scratches! We’re so delighted to see the inner kitten in Simba restored as he frolics with his water fountain in between those rubbing sessions with trusted humans. If you have a quiet, predictable home, with older children who can continue to provide all the loving attention Simba has come to crave, we’d love to offer you a chance to be a true hero to a friend in need.
