Meet Geekster

Geekster is at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY.

Geekster is a large‑framed black cat who first came to us for a routine spay procedure, but it quickly became clear she needed extra care and support, so she stayed at the center. She’s naturally very nervous and can appear shut down at times, but she has been making slow, steady progress as she adjusts to her surroundings. Geekster feels safest when life moves gently and at her own pace, without sudden noise or chaos. Her ideal home is quiet, low‑traffic, and patient—somewhere she can decompress and build trust over time. She would also benefit from an experienced cat owner who can help her with weight management and provide structure. With consistency, kindness, and a soft approach, Geekster can blossom into a devoted companion for someone who understands her needs.
