Get to Know Stella

Found panting beneath a dumpster at Cumberland Farms, this tuxedo girl has already overcome more than most cats ever should. When she arrived in our care, she was suffering from burns to her paws, mouth, and stomach. Her resilience, combined with compassionate veterinary care, has helped Stella recover beautifully, and she is now available for adoption. While her physical wounds have healed, she's still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. Understandably, she takes time to decompress in new environments and build trust with new people. Patience is rewarded, however. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet and affectionate nature begins to shine. Gentle attention, a quiet home, and an adopter willing to let her adjust at her own pace will help her continue her remarkable journey. After everything she's endured, this brave survivor deserves a family who will show her the love and security she's waited so long to find.
