Get to Know Pierce
Meet Pierce, a shy Terrier/Cattle dog mix who recently came to us on a rescue transport from one of our shelter partners in Puerto Rico. When Pierce first arrived he was very timid and fearful, most likely due to the unfamiliar faces and surroundings. But he slowly warmed up after spending some quality time with our Behavior team. The ideal home for Pierce would be with an adopter experienced with fearful dogs who will continue to practice patience, obedience training, socialization, and confidence boosting exercises. Pierce would do best in a quiet neighborhood, with a large, fenced-in yard where he can safely run and play. Pierce would love to meet the entire household, including any potential canine sibling, to ensure it’s a perfect match. If you would like to learn more or schedule a meet and greet, contact us today!
