Get to Know Monico

Monico is a shy girl who came all the way from Texas to find her perfect home. The ideal home for Monico would be as the only pet with adopters experienced with fearful dogs, who are willing to give her the time and patience she needs to learn to trust. Once that trust is made you will have a loyal companion for life! Monico would love a house in a suburban neighborhood with a fully fenced-in yard. A meet and greet is recommended for the entire household. Monico has a lot of love to give. If you let her, she will give it all to you.

Next Steps for Monico

All adoptions are subject to approval and you must be 21 or older to adopt. We cannot guarantee the selection of adoptable animals at the time of any appointment and animals cannot be held for your visit. Our experienced Adoption Counselors will make every effort to match you with your perfect pet.

Social distancing protocols will be observed while on campus and face masks must be worn at all times. In the event that there are too many people inside, visitors will be asked to wait in their cars and will not be allowed to crowd around the entrance or front of the building.

Adoption fees offset a fraction of the cost to save the animals in our care and prepare them for adoption into responsible, loving homes. This can include rescue transportation, wellness exams and vaccinations, spay/neuter, food and board, grooming and much more.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies (up to 6 months)
$375
Adult Dogs (over 6 months)
$125
Small Breed & Pure Breeds (over 6 months)
$300
Kittens (up to 6 months)
$125
Double Kittens
$200
Adult Cats (over 6 months)
$75
Double Adult Cats
$100
Where applicable, a $50 Spay/Neuter deposit is required for kittens, $75 for puppies. Please note that adoption fees at our mobile adoption locations may vary.

High-Quality Medical Care

For the first 15 days following your adoption, we care for an adopted animals in our medical center. An adoption counselor will provide any adopter with specific details on what medical services are covered. After this period, adopters can transition to our Pet Health Center where our high-quality veterinary care continues.

Our Pet Health Center

We offer low-cost, high-quality veterinary care to all dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens—including pets not adopted here. Our quality veterinarian team provides all the services you would expect from a private veterinary practice, and when you visit our Pet Health Center, not only do you receive low-cost pet care, but proceeds help support our mission to save lives.
