Get to Know Braveheart

Imagine being abandoned on your worst day, not knowing if your trust could be safely placed with strangers. That’s what Braveheart endured when he was left to our care. His brave purrsona kicked in as he grappled with his new living situation, but in time came to embrace his team of nurturers in our Long Term Care Home as the best family he’d ever known. His whimsical awe of the smallest luxuries—a window perch of his own from where he inspects visiting birds, treat puzzles to entertain him, catnip to roll around in with pleasure—makes him all the more endearing to us. This survivor has shown us how important time, patience, and consistency has been to help him find his way back to his comfort zone. As the only pet in an adult home, he won’t need to be brave anymore, just content to be safe with his first true family.

An adoption counselor will provide any adopter with specific details on what medical services are covered. After this period, adopters can transition to our Pet Health Center where our high-quality veterinary care continues.

We offer low-cost, high-quality veterinary care to all dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens—including pets not adopted here. Our quality veterinarian team provides all the services you would expect from a private veterinary practice, and when you visit our Pet Health Center, not only do you receive low-cost pet care, but proceeds help support our mission to save lives.
