Get to Know Resilience
Resilience is the common thread linking the clowder of cats we rescued from the aftermath of the Happy Cats Sanctuary fire. It’s also the name of one timid tabby that may be feeling the weight of that moniker as she grapples with an utterly different existence. Hopping from hiding spot to hooded bed to try to reclaim a security lost in the fire, Resilience is afforded all the time and quiet she needs to refuel her soul. Watching cats with similar energy enjoy their stay in her room encourages her to explore more and more what’s outside of her comfy quarters. While she’s still very hesitant about physical attention, she does tend to melt a bit for treats, and has a wonderment about toys in her room. A peaceful, adult home with experienced, nurturing cat lovers is what we’re seeking for our skeptical lady. If you have a heart to nurture her fractured spirit, you just might be rewarded with the kind of love saved between someone who felt lost and the human who found her.
