Get to Know Chausser

Our friend Chausser is an example of the full team commitment afforded the fortunate cats who land in our care. Discovered by our Rescue Team at a local municipal shelter where he was brought in as a stray, Chausser was given an opportunity for rebirth, one he would sorely need as his time with us unveiled challenges both to his spirit and his body. We provided him a peaceful place to explore his mixed emotions in our Long Term Care Home where he revealed to us his zany nature and exuberant spirit with friends. But just as he was relaxing into the reality of his safety, he met a new obstacle: the need for perineal urethrostomy surgery to relieve him of his FLUTD. That’s some big scary words for this poor survivor, but like everything else in his life, he championed his cause and landed successfully back with his friends full of good health and a wealth of gratitude(with a dash of catitude)! To overcome so many obstacles, Chausser has made it clear to us he deserves nothing short of perfection in his home: an experienced, adult one where he’ll continue to enjoy all the fun and creature comforts he’s come to relish with us. Want to be the hero who completes this long story?
