Matty is at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY.
Matty is a sweet, reserved tiger‑striped boy who is still learning how to trust people after coming from a home with too many cats, where he never received the socialization he needed. Though hesitant at first, he allows gentle hands to pet him and is slowly discovering that human kindness can feel safe. With time, patience, and consistency, Matty will grow to trust his person and form a quiet but meaningful bond. He thrives best in a calm, non‑chaotic environment with humans who understand that progress comes in small, precious steps. A peaceful home with soft voices and predictable routines would help him feel secure. Matty is especially comforted by the presence of his beloved sister Lacey, who helps him feel braver in new situations. Ideally, he would love to find a forever home where he and Lacey can continue their journey together.

The Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center and Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center will be open 10:00am to 6:00pm on Wednesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Monday and Tuesday, unless otherwise noted.
