Lacey at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY.
Lacey is a petite tiger‑striped girl with a shy, skittish nature, still learning to feel safe around people after coming from a home with too many cats and not enough human interaction. Despite her hesitation, there’s a quiet sweetness about her that shines through when given patience and space. In a calm, non‑chaotic home with understanding humans, Lacey has every potential to blossom into a loving and appreciative companion. She responds best to soft voices, slow movements, and gentle routines that help her build confidence day by day. Lacey also finds great comfort in the presence of her brother Matty, who makes her feel braver and less alone in new environments. The two share a reassuring bond and enjoy being near each other throughout the day. With the right home—and ideally with Matty by her side—Lacey will continue learning that love and affection can be safe, steady, and warm.

The Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center and Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center will be open 10:00am to 6:00pm on Wednesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Monday and Tuesday, unless otherwise noted.
