What should I do? I live in a rented townhome. The fence is very dilapidated and allows my dog to get out. Property management is aware and hasn't fixed the problem so my dog can get next door. I've gotten to know my neighbor and when my dog would get through the fence, she would allow him into her home with her 4 other dogs. At least one of Wernick has attacked her friend's dog. I did not know that that had happened. Not until my dog was attacked in her home while I was at work. I received a text that my dog was in a fight with her dog and to come home. I saw the text an hour later and came home immediately. He was seriously injured, and we both went to the vet with him. After learning I couldn't afford surgery, she covered that bill after I paid 430 dollars. When he was released, she offered her vet for after care. He needed another surgery and ultimately died. She's not paying for it, and I can't get his ashes till it's paid. Her friend told me about the previous attack after the event. How do I get help to pay for treatment? Also how do I get the proper attention to her vicious dogs?
What kind of papers do I need to file to get my dogs back from animal control?
I’m wondering if it is illegal for the breeder of the kittens to withhold them from their rightful owners, after already paying for them.
Animal Control has my dog under false pretenses, but they are neglecting him. Can I take my dog out of the shelter, or will I get arrested?
As a volunteer trainer of 4Paws for Abilities organization, I have been asked to return the dog for evaluation and change in volunteer trainer. My family is extremely emotionally attached to the dog. I would like to understand how I can opt for adoption and take my dog out of service training program. Do I have any chances? Is there a legal consultation me and my family get in this matter.
Can the veterinarian report this to the humane society and can the humane society forcibly take custody of her dog and not give it back?
Me and my ex got a dog 3 years ago after we lost a child. It was the family dogs, but we separated 2 years ago. The original agreement was that Monday through Friday she would drop her off before work and pick her up after. Because I was down and out after the break financially… I don’t have a home to sleep in at night, but I don’t have her at night though. We just hang out during the day. Until last month when I kind of threatened her because she threw all the personal material possessions my grandmother given away to me. I said the last memory I have of my grandma was Nala making my grandma laugh. So, I’m keeping that memory and Nala for good and safe so she can’t take it away. And since then, she has withheld me from seeing her. I go to her mother's house and try to see her. They hold the dog back, shush her from barking, etc.… Can I call the cops and be in the right and still get to see my best friend if I am financially unstable and what not? Because there is no lack of love, and she eats well every time she is with me. I take credit for her obedience given that she will listen to me over any of the family member. I’m not asking for full custody because I understand she is the family dog, but she is my best friend. Please help.
A Pet Adoption agency is trying to force us to spay our 8 year old dog that we own before they will process our application to adopt another dog. How can they force this on us? We feel this could be a risk to our present dog and they said their policy is not about birth control. It is about their own agenda that they are trying to force on other people & pets that are already in good homes? It seems their PERSONAL agenda comes before giving the rescue pet a good home.
Hello, Can someone cat sitting be sued by the owner if they cannot locate the pet/if the cat wanders outside by mistake? In this situation, the owner has not chipped the cat nor has him wear a collar. And if so, about how much money could it be for if this cat sitting is free for a few days time? Thank you.
I called Animal control because I'm disabled and couldn't get my pets to the vet. The building I live in wouldn't spray for a major flee swarm and my kitties were being eaten alive. Now they say I can't have them back. Please let me know how I can get them back. They are my service cats in training. But more so I miss them so much. I'm so broken 💔
