The Hands That Helped Her Home

In her note to Binky’s future adopter, Madi shared how much the sweet puppy, rescued from the side of a busy highway, meant to her and her family, and how they worked to give the pup the best possible start. “She was a sick little thing but has pulled through and is a wonderful baby,” Madi wrote. “She has learned how to sit and loves to have her picture taken… I easily fell in love with this girl and same for her. I hope you love this bundle of joy and goodness as much as we do.”
When Binky was adopted, our rescue team shared Madi’s letter with her new family. Touched by the care that had already gone into raising the puppy, including early training and socialization, the adopters wrote back to thank Madi for helping prepare Binky for her new life. Now named Juju, the lucky pup is thriving with her new family, which includes three human siblings and two rescue dog brothers. Jasper, a four-year-old pittie mix, has become her close companion, while Judah, a nine-year-old shepherd mix, is still figuring out the energetic newcomer.
Juju’s story was shaped by many caring hands: the rescuers who brought her to safety, the foster family who nurtured and trained her, the adopters who welcomed her into their home. Together, they gave one little puppy the beautiful life every animal deserves.
