North Shore Animal League America would like to send a big thank you to our friends at Hallmark Channel for a very generous match donation of up to $10,000 to help aid our relief efforts in the wake of the catastrophic hurricanes in Texas and Florida. Every gift that was pledged up to $10,000 during the Hallmark 1-Day Challenge was matched dollar for dollar, and helps our Emergency Rescue Teams respond swiftly and efficiently when natural disasters such as Harvey and Irma strike.
Thanks to you Hallmark Channel, and all of our supporters who donated, we are continuing to send our Mobile Rescue Units down to affected areas to provide support in any way its needed – whether it’s bringing food, water, bedding, and other essentials to our shelter partners, providing manpower to assist in caring for homeless animals in need, or transporting dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens back to New York to allow those shelters to make room for animals displaced by the storm. None of it would be possible without your generosity.
