During the month of June, the Veterinary Team at our Pet Health Centers is spreading the word on keeping your pet up to date on their rabies vaccinations, and offering $15 vaccinations all month long. Whether indoor or outdoor pets, it’s the best way to protect them from harm.
As the world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization, it’s only fitting that North Shore Animal League America spearheads Tour For Life®, the world’s largest cooperative lifesaving adoption event sponsored by Purina®. For 10 weeks, our state-of-the-art Mobile Adoption Units traveled through 50 cities in 37 states, promoting the plight of homeless companion animals and collaborating with our shelter partners to facilitate more than 2,000 adoptions!

With the help of National Mill Dog Rescue, a non-profit organization based in Peyton, Colorado, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating discarded breeding dogs, Animal League America was able to change the world of 53 deserving animals this past weekend.

Located just outside of Houston, Polk County SPCA has been pushed to the limit since Hurricane Harvey hit, with an abundance of homeless and displaced animals straining the no-kill shelter’s resources.
